Caregiver Roles & QualificationsIf you want to pursue a career with formal qualifications in Health & Social Care then you have come to the right company. We run Apprenticeship Schemes for School Leavers and Mature Candidates in all our operational areas. Immediate vocational opportunities open to you are: 1. CaregiverYou are fully trained to the latest National Care Certificate (NCC) standard but not an Approved Caregiver until you are ‘signed off’ (when you have completed your probation period). 2. Approved CaregiverYou are now ‘approved’ having been trained and ‘signed off’ to the latest National Care Certificate (NCC) standard. 3. Caregiver with additional skillsWe will encourage you to develop your skills and apply (and pay you) for additional training in key areas such as Dementia Care, Mental Health, Palliative Care, Apprentice Mentoring, Safeguarding, Epilepsy, Medication, Peg Feeding, and Parkinson’s Disease. 4. Caregiver with Diploma Level 2Once you are approved you will be automatically enrolled onto our next stage of professional qualifications and begin studying for a Diploma Level 2 QCF (formerly NVQ) in Health & Social Care. 5. Caregiver with Diploma Level 3Having completed your Level 2, you can further advance your professional qualifications through studying for a Diploma Level 3. Our Area Team Leaders are all developed to a minimum of this level. 6. Caregiver with Diploma Level 5Having completed your Levels 2 & 3, you can apply to be considered for a Diploma Level 5 (equivalent to degree standard).

Support RolesWe advertise all our ‘office’ vacancies internally; many of our office team have started their careers as caregivers. 1. Area Team LeaderWith full responsibility for liaising with client, family and any professional parties’ liaison (and their satisfaction) and running your own team of caregivers. 2. Care CoordinatorWith full responsibility for production and communication of visit rotas on the companies’ state of the art computerised rostering software, ensuring caregivers are getting the number of hours they prefer and that rotas are efficiently planned. 3. Accounts OfficeSupporting the Accounts Manager with general financial administration, payment of suppliers and caregivers, and collection of cash. 4. Training & Recruitment AdministratorPlanning of the company’s training and development programs for all staff and maintenance of paperless personnel files. 5. Training ManagerWith full responsibility for developing and delivering all the companies training needs. 6. Registered ManagerWith full responsibility for all aspects of managing and developing one of our busy care offices – currently operational in Worcester, Bromsgrove, KIdderminster, Teme Valley and Evesham (soon to be launched). |
All personal development is under our Investors in People (IIP) Accreditation. Bespoke training programmes are developed and delivered in conjunction with Worcestershire County Council, Worcester University and Heart of Worcestershire Colleges (HOW).
Course fees and formal study time assessments are all paid for by us and we recognise all ‘’Accredited’ third party certificates issued by third party trainers.
